The quality of floor paving can directly affect later living. So it is important to prepare well before paving. Let's take a look together.

First, the Construction waste on the ground needs to be cleaned, especially the residue that may fall from the putty powder and emulsion paint of the previous project, and then carefully clean the fine dust on the ground as far as possible.

1. Waterproof and moisture-proof

In order to prevent problems such as peeling, bulging, and noise caused by moisture in the later stage of the wooden floor, it is best to ensure that the ground is dry before laying the floor. It is best to open windows in advance for ventilation and do a good job of drying. Before paving, attention should be paid to waterproofing issues, and there should be no leakage inside the house. If there are any, they should be dealt with as soon as possible to ensure that the ground is completely dry.

2. Ground leveling

The wooden floor paving must ensure that the ground is sufficiently flat. Before this, we can use a 2M guiding rule to lay it flat on the ground, and then use a 3mm thick feeler gauge to check the gap between the guiding rule and the ground. If the feeler gauge cannot pass, it indicates that it is qualified. If the ground flatness is not qualified, leveling, leveling, or self leveling work can be carried out.

3. Avoiding Engineering Crossovers

The wooden floor paving should be carried out after the progress of the project and the acceptance of the suspended ceiling and walls. Cross operation can easily cause floor damage and affect aesthetics, resulting in certain economic losses. Therefore, the project needs to be carried out step by step.

① Before paving, check the condition of the floor mats and ensure that they do not overlap or exceed the skirting line.

② The sequence of wooden floor paving emphasizes starting from the top left corner of the room, with the wooden tenon against the wall and a reserved gap of 8mm to 12mm away from fixed objects such as water pipes and walls.

③ When splicing the floor, it is necessary to use a wooden last as a cushion to avoid the hammer directly hitting the floor, causing dents on the surface of the floor or damaging the edges of the floor.
